SOLAR KONCEPT GLOBAL ENTERPRISES is a beekeeping company for honey and other bee products and we are into natural honey packaging sales and supply. Our mission is to create and continue to build a satisfied customer base through the retailing of pure and natural honey and building our revenue streams through training and consulting services on beekeeping and apitherapy.
Company and Management: The company is owned by SANNI LATEEF KAYODE; a food scientist and seasoned beekeeper. He serves as the Managing Director (MD) of the company but with a group of board of directors who are to guide on management expertise.
The Directors are:
- Alhaji Abd’afuw Olugbenga Ettu; is a successful entrepreneur in the pharmacy industry.
- Alhaji Alatishe Lukman Omokehinde; the principal of Vanguards Academy, one of the best Muslim Secondary in Nigeria.
- Alhaji Sanni Adebowale Rasheed; Quality Manager, Lafarge Cement PLC, Ashaka plant Gombe State.
Staff: Our production and farm staff are well-trained in their field of engagement.
Product and Services
- Our customers include but are not limited to health-conscious youth and aged Nigerians who take honey for its health and medicinal properties and as an alternative to sugar. Our honey comes in two different forms – one is packaged natural honey while the other is packaged honey infused with Ginger and garlic for some health issues.
- We also sell beekeeping tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Our Clients are upcoming beekeepers and farmers who want to boost their farm yields through bee pollination and people with health conditions who want to try alternative therapy.
The Market: The underproduction of local honey around 10% of the national honey consumption on a yearly basis created a huge market for local honey. The demand for African Honey is also very high across the globe due to its best quality but the level of honey adulteration is alarming which we work against by keeping bees for our honey.
